Deskripsi

This app is designed for parents of children under the age of 12 who were hospitalized for pediatric traumatic injury. The app will provide emotional and behavioral health education, coping skills, relaxation strategies, and child and parent symptom tracking. Users may access the app soon after their child’s injury, with download available during their child’s hospital stay.

Users will have access to videos, audio recordings with relaxation strategies, activities, and other tools to promote emotional and behavioral health recovery after pediatric injury. Tools can be used by parents alone or may be used with children to practice skills together to improve mood and stress. Users also have access to additional resources within the app such as websites and tools to locate a mental health therapist in their area. Approximately 30 days after download, the app will notify users to complete a brief mental health screen for parents and their children to assess follow-up emotional and behavioral health recovery.
