It is still impossible to use the application properly (emails take a long time to load and send), and the developers are ignoring the issue.
After start the app — hang out. Terrible app.
I’ve been waiting for the mobile version of this client for so long, and I’m so disappointed with how terrible it turned out to be. I’ve sent feedback multiple times about the issues, but the developers ignore it and take forever to fix anything. Just look at how long it takes to load emails. You get a notification, you tap on it (and, by the way, notifications on other devices using the same Apple account weirdly don’t disappear like they should), and then emclient opens, only to spend another half an hour or even an hour loading the email that triggered the notification. And don’t even get me started on sending emails. After composing an email in emclient, you’ll be waiting forever for it to send. It just stays stuck in the outbox for ages. This happens even when the app isn’t running in the background and with an internet speed of 150 Mbps.

We are sorry that you have experienced issues with the app. We are still new to the mobile platforms so unfortunately there as some unexpected issues on some devices we cannot test directly, but our developers keep working on resolving them. Please send any issue reports to mobile@emclient.com and even if we cannot respond right away, we do look into the issues and try to fix them.

Devs are Ignoring feedback

Using the app is impossible: after launching, it always takes a very long time to receive emails from the servers, and if you try to send emails, minimizing the app will cause the message to never send and it will be stuck in the outbox forever. Additionally, attached files can only be sent from a linked Gmail account, but never from a linked iCloud account. The app is extremely raw and underdeveloped, which is precisely why I lowered my rating from five stars to one—it's impossible to use the app. Even a third-party Outlook client manages such tasks, but I cannot fathom why you couldn't.
