LES is a Norwegian developed APP that enables you to “crack the reading code”: which means putting together letter sounds into words. This is for everyone who is going to learn to read Norwegian.

The use of a touch screen to read words is unique in Les:

It is important with early intervention to prevent reading difficulties.

This APP provides training to pull together phonemes (letter sounds) into words, something that students with dyslexia need to practice a lot.
Reading is a complicated prosess. This APP contributes, during the criticalphase, by binding together letter sounds. This is a phase where pupils begin to learn words by heart, without having understod how to decode unfamilliar words.
A competence goal after second grade is to draw letter sounds together to form words.
