MERR – Mental Resilience and readiness of healthcare professionals through effective management of the BurnOut effect Building Mental Resilience for Healthcare Professionals – MERR Project In the context of this project, we will try to develop the means and resources to assess the level of stress and burnout amongst healthcare professionals (including medical students), and to provide them with training, including new techniques, practices and knowledge, to manage intense stress. Activities will include a Needs assessment, the development of digital tools and training material needed to support the training process and a series of dissemination activities for sustainability. Outputs: Needs Analysis. The needs analysis is expected to help to identify the specific training needs and objectives of the project, which in turn ensures that the training program is effective in addressing the healthcare professionals. Digital Tools. The activities are consisted of three main deliverables the training platform, the integrated e-Repository and the applications. Training Material. The training development and practice is the core set of activities of the project, through which the training material will be developed both for the direct trainees but also for any other related professional / user who wishes to have insights of the MERR project. Dissemination. The expected results of Work Package 5 are related with dissemination and exploitation. The second major result of this WP is the development of an impact analysis that aims to assess the impact of the performed activities. Expected Results: To develop learning contents and approaches intended for the project target group, to acquire basic digital skills on assessing stress. To empower care professionals to be successful technology adopters for improving their own mental resilience and readiness. To build a largely self-sustained Open-Source Learning Repository to facilitate an easier transition from traditional data access and learning to more digital and web services, including open-source applications and innovative practices.
