Whoever said playing games isn’t a constructive way to spend time, obviously has not been playing enough word games.
If you're looking for a fun way to challenge your vocabulary, Word Adventure is the perfect game to accelerate your brain training. Your goal is to construct words using the letters in the grid and rack up as many points as possible. Sounds simple? Not with the new dimension this game brings.
What sets Word Adventure apart from other word games is that the grid isn’t fixed. You can rotate rows and columns horizontally and vertically to arrange the letters in better word-making position, an idea inspired by an unlikely object.
“Our game designer and one of the developers were trying to finish a Rubik’s cube in the middle of a meeting, and that got them thinking of how that could be combined with a word game,” explains Jonas Johnsson, co-founder of Bali-based Dragon Game Studio.
They then tested that theory by making a physical prototype of what the game could possibly look like, attaching paper letters to a Rubik’s cube to visualise the unique gameplay mechanism. And that's how Word Adventure - quite literally wordplay with a puzzle twist - was created.
Throw in letter grids of varying shapes and sizes as you progress and what you’ll get is a thoroughly engaging word game that will put your wits to the test. Word.
