If you’ve ever wanted to rhyme like a pro, Rap-Z lets you create slick and funny rap videos in no time – and share them with your friends.

You don’t need to have your debut single planned out – the app pulls everything together for you. Simply choose the phrase you want to say and the app then records you for up to three seconds via your front-facing camera (so be sure to make some suitably fierce faces).

You can record fun mini-rap music videos in a couple of taps with Rap-Z.

Once you’ve finished recording, the app takes the audio and video and mashes it up with some beats, special effects and cartoon bubbles to give you your very own rap track, complete with an eye-popping video.

Our efforts probably won’t give Jay-Z or Missy Elliott any sleepless nights, but the app is such fun to use. If you subscribe, you can expand your musical options to include old-school hip-hop and electronica.

All your videos are instantly shareable to Mail, Messages and AirDrop as well as your favourite social media apps. The app even supports Dark Mode for those late-night sessions when inspiration strikes.
