Well designed and functionally strong.
App works pretty well. There can be a big lag in video feed, but the sound is pretty snappy so conversations via the camera work well; which is the important thing. It's great for remote screaming at your mother-in-law as she walks in. I've terrified that poor woman twice now. Overall, quite happy with both app and product.
Works for low traffic areas, more cons than pros is any area with high traffic.
Bought 4 cameras XL Floodlight cameras (original version) and the Arlo doorbell for my Mothers house after my Father passed away.
Doorbell:
Works very well as security camera to check to see who is at the door for her. And works perfectly for any sensitivity or motion detected.
Only two cons would be
1. The doorbell itself has to be removed for the battery to be recharged - explained in instructions and simply to do but can be tedious to try and remember to do this at times you won’t need the doorbell.
2. Not great for having two way conversations with delivery drivers if no one is home - there is about a 10 second delay (not much but Irish delivery drivers don’t hang around 10 seconds to wait)
4 cameras:
The cameras out the back of the house are great, bought corresponding solar panels for the cameras and they have brilliant video quality and instant notification if there is any sort of motion.
However obviously by nature there is less traffic.
The two out the front are the exact same model with exact same solar panels (and are closer to the WiFi hub) these take less time to notify us and can often miss motion. I’m finding not often but maybe once a day one of the cameras will pick some up that the other will not - even though they are covering the same entrance just from different angles.
Other than that the system, app and hardware work well.

Self builder single house on isolated country site
Highly recommended. Fantastic peace of mind. Very effective alert and video capturing even in very low level of WiFi coverage and at night in complete darkness. I have seven rechargeable battery operated cameras on a large isolated construction site for 3 years and I haven’t lost even one single item to theft. Even the visibility of the cameras around the site is a major deterrent to undesirable visitors. The rechargeable Battery lifetime is very acceptable. Go for rechargeable batteries even though the disposable batteries have a month or more life rechargeable batteries are just more convenient and cost effective.
