Beatstar can make your device feel like an instrument to play your favorite songs: Earn rewards by tightly coordinating tile-tapping with the music's flow. Few music games deliver such a rush in pursuit of nailing the perfect score. With a track list featuring artists from Lil Nas X to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Beatstar lets you play the hits and discover fantastic new music too.
Great game, but has issues
One of the main cons is how long you have to wait till you can play again. You fill your cases (which doesn’t take too long) and then you have to wait hours until you can go again. It’s just a bit annoying, the game itself is so good you just want to play it. One other thing that is honestly more annoying is glitches that aren’t your fault. It can glitch and not give you time to press the keys but it’s put down as you not getting to them in time, when you can’t even do anything to avoid it. So you’re wasting case space when this happens. I understand things like this happen. But it would be better if you had the choice to not make the game count, so it’s not taking up case space if you don’t want it to, or something. Despite these things it’s an overall great game, really enjoy it.
Fun game but needs work
It’s a fun game and I enjoy it, to a point. Paying for everything really is annoying, and still paying for these things, I still need need to watch an ad to get a few extra cards.
The sync of audio and gameplay is pretty off for some songs which is very frustrating. Then your timing is off and your just looking for when to hit notes on the screen not the beat. It’s not every song so if I’m adjusting sync it’ll be for a few songs and revert to the original.
Several times the game has lagged and I need to close the app and reopen. To the point it won’t open at all and I need to delete and reinstall.
The game is good but needs work and a better system for buying songs etc. i can’t justify paying €5+ plus on one song but to progress through the game and gain more stars I need new songs ? I’ll need to wait and hope the cards I get go to a box that’s almost full to get a song.
