Yes but could be better ……
After years of using the beast that was Bibleworks, Olivetree is lightweight by comparison. That said, they do different jobs. Since BW10 was the last version, Olivetree is by far the best value biblical app in the void left by BW’s demise. Regular sales, a wide range of theological books, commentaries (can be very expensive) and historic works all permit a gradual year-on-year expansion of your library.
It’s capacity to run and sync across all your devices is a blessing. In my case: Mac, MacBook, iPad and iPhone provides the capacity to move around, change device from study to car to train and pick up where I left off on any device.
I give it 5* but I do contact support with suggested ‘improvements’ and their customer support exceeds the 5* every time. The whole package has given me a library in my pocket.
Although - as stated - commentaries can be very expensive (compare with Kindle!) their sales are regular and prices become competitive. The in-app search engine needs an intelligence-boost but that’s rather pickie. All in all: excellent product and something we should thank God for.
Content sticking
For the past few days I’m only getting half a page on my iPad. Just tried changing from Isaiah to Mark and it didn’t happen. I shut down completely two days ago to see if that would help, but it didn’t.

Almost great
I enjoy using this app and find it useful. However, certain resources are not available in the resource centre. You need to come out if there and go to the library for access which defeats the purpose of integration. I have also asked several times to switch to an older version of the NIV. Not only is this not available but no one from Olive Tree has got back to any of my emails to explain why.
I receive messages about wonderful resources which I would purchase and use except I’m unsure if they are exactly what I’m looking for. If there were an option to explore a limited amount of each resource before buying, I’m sure your sales levels would rise and I for one would be enriched.

They will be happy to help you further. They are quick to respond too, so I'm not sure why you haven't heard about the older NIV. Feel free to send an email again about that. They will be happy to give you more information about the resources you're interested in too.
