Description
So you think you understand this thing you’re holding? Think again. Stop tapping. Stop swiping. In fact, stop touching the screen at all. To crack Blackbox’s puzzles you’ll need to find solitude and stillness, climb mountains, call on friends, get in tune with the cosmos, and think outside the box.
Minimalistic visual clues make for incredibly satisfying “Aha!” moments, while sonic interfaces provide an extra level of guidance and nuance that makes Blackbox accessible with or without vision. Thoughtful haptic feedback, Easter eggs on Easter eggs, and solutions that can’t be found beneath the glass of your screen redefine what a puzzle can be. You’ll never see your device the same way again.

This is a hotfix! iOS 17.4.1 broke some stuff, but I fixed it (hotly)
■ Fixed a certain double dark-teal challenge that was crashing on launch.

The most ingenious thing about Blackbox’s puzzles isn’t that you solve them without tapping or swiping. It’s that you’ll happily spend hours figuring out the game’s subtle clues. Do you need to tilt your iPhone, shout into the speaker or do something a lot trickier? Thinking creatively and finding the answer feels deeply rewarding, even profound—earning Blackbox an Apple Design Award.

I’ve been addicted to this game for about a week, playing it non stop. I desperately wanted the rest of the levels so I brought myself to pay for them all (cheaper than paying for both packs individually!) but there was a bug that meant I could only access one pack. I emailed the address given on their website and Ryan got back to me within a few hours, properly looked into the issue and had an update out to fix it after about 24 hours. Great game and it’s great to see that the people behind it really care about their product and their audience

My fingers are getting annoyed...
I thought that this game would let you touch the screen... Think again! My fingers are probably super annoyed!!! 😂This game DEFINITELY deserves a five star rating! And if you’re not the patient type, (like me) this definitely tests your limits!!😬 This puzzle game requires you to think outside the box... Well,.. The phone!!!📲
