Trip to Faro Airport from Villamoura

This was my first time using BOLT taxi service & I was really impressed by the service I received. I contacted BOLT & within 9 minutes the taxi was at the apartment. The driver Celso was so polite & courteous. His driving skills were excellent. I would like to say Thank You to Celso for driving me safely to airport.
I will continue to use BOLT & recommend them to family & friends.

Good.. slight improvements can be made

I selected cash to pay the driver and realised when he came that I don’t have cash to pay him (my bad) so he had to cancel our ride twice because cash was selected automatically after first time. There should really be an option to change this whenever ??? Like not everyone in a rush is going to have time for this and it’s just wasting drivers times. My experience with the second driver was tereible.. the driver was on his PHONE for 10m and missed our turn and then asked me where to drive. The app automatically charged me € extra because HE WAS TEXTING and took 5mins longer to bring us home due to his clumsiness?? When I reported it to support they did tell me they’ll sort it out with him, good, and will give me a € off my next ride up to 30 days.

All is well until...

I used Bolt for several years and was very satisfied with the service and the drivers until... out if the blue and for no reason at all, the app rejected my debit card. It worked fine everywhere else. But in order to continue using Bolt, I asked the bank to issue a new card for me. This was also immediately rejected by Bolt. I cannot always carry the correct cash, so I have stopped using the app, to my great regret.

The customer service is abysmal, it is impossible to communicate with a real human, and the replies I received in response to my issue were all repetitive automatic replies.

In other words, great service until something goes wrong!
