The app features are ok and it has decent UX but the biggest and most annoying flaw off the app that brings the score way now is the login. The app doesn’t hold a logged in session long enough so I keep getting logged out. When I go to store and open the app to pay or get loyalty points I suddenly realize I’m logged out which causes much frustration and panic at the till as a queue forms behind
No Deliveries
The only reason I downloaded the app and signed up was cause i thought there would be options to collect loyalty points on my favourite delivery. I use the Deliveroo to order literally tons of burritos..lol It would’ve been nice to be rewarded for the loyalty. Unfortunately it’s not the case, no delivery option and hence no loyalty rewards for me. So I guess I’ll stick will Deliveroo. Also, no option to delete my details off this app, I have to go through the whole email routine. That’s bad design, developers don’t make it easy to quit the app, so I won’t be leaving happy. Won’t sign up to anything else by boojum, Just my burritos. Why give out your info if it’s not easy to get it off. So for the above, 1 star review. Sorry
Awful customer experience
This app is not user friendly at all. It took 20 minutes to order a burrito. One of the main appeals of this business model is the quick turnover time. I can walk in the door and have a burrito in hand in less than 5 minutes. This app asked for my details twice and just took so long to be able to order.
The actual process of ordering is very simple and clear but it takes so long to get there that it’s not worth while.
I would imagine that a person using the app instead of going into the restaurant regularly would have a much more pleasant time but for first time users the app just does not have any appeal.
