Easy to use

Very handy app for recording all my reading. Has much more detail than I ever use. Love the easy to use ISBN Scanner.

Best of the Bunch

I've tried a few of these kinds of apps and eventually went with book crawler for cataloguing my whole library, as it had the best depth of bibliographic data, the most accurate data retrieval so you have to manually enter very few books, and an import/export function for back up. There is room for improvement: it would be nice to have the ability to select a few entries and modify a detail (e.g. For putting books into storage). It would be nice if the publisher was listed when a list of results is retrieves from Google Books to make it easier to choose the correct edition. The interplay between the scanner and the app isn't so smooth, so if you scan a batch you have to exit and re-enter the app. And the format tends to import as 'book' and rarely specifies the binding as I would have hoped (again a batch edit could make this easier to fix). Those are my suggestions for updates! Most importantly I like it and would recommend it.

I used to love this app

But this edition is slow, it doesn't automatically search as it used to and although I had the paid version I had to pay another €2.99 for unlimited. If there was another option I'd be using it now. I own a lot of books and am currently rescanning them all and it is taking an awful long time to add even one book. Plus, it keeps telling me that location services are disabled. Why exactly would I need location services for books added by ISBN? Sort it out please as this is ridiculous.
