Can’t Believe How Simple This Was!
I had never used a luggage storage service before and was always unsure about the safety of the luggage, my mind has been changed, this was an amazing service, took 2 mins to book my place, and even less time to drop my bag at the location (hotel near Nice airport).
I asked the guy at the hotel desk how safe this was and he ensured me they have been running the service in that hotel for 3 years with no issues. I came back 3 hours later and had my bag a moment later! App is so easy to use, service is safe and cheap, will be recommending and definitely using again!
Very convenient
The Bounce point we used was in a shoe shop, and the only thing that could be improved is they could have at least had a sticker on their door indicating that (we had to look for it for a couple minutes and then come in and ask, ‘cause we had no clue)
But the rest was amazing! Lovely, friendly people, clear instructions and great value for money.
Servers can be unreliable
I landed in LAX with an oversized bag and opened the app to find a place to store it. However, Bounce’s servers were down, affecting both the app and website, so I couldn’t search for a store or make a reservation.
An app like Bounce that’s aimed at travellers needs to have more robust servers. I ended up missing a connecting flight and had to find an old fashioned luggage service which was very expensive. When Bounce works, it’s excellent. Good value, easy app, plentiful locations. I’ve used them before without hassle. But if you’re relying on them as part of your travel plans, my advice is to have a Plan B in mind, because any downtime can have a huge affect.
