This has happened nearly every game
Sometimes whenever I make a move, either it is a bad internet connection or a bug in the game, my clock would keep ticking away as though I hadn’t moved, I would then have to go out of the app and back in again which makes me loss some valuable time and make my move again, other than that this game offers a huge range of things to do and will keep you occupied for ages. Also when i move my pawn two squares forward my opponents pawn may capture it as if i had moved 1 square forward.
So close to perfect.
Excellent app. It would be 5 stars if there was on offline mode, and the ability to draw arrows. My 4g can be quite annoying at times and so don’t always have internet. During these times I can’t make full use of my diamond membership. As for the arrows. To move pieces you can drag them or hit the piece then hit the square, maybe you could implement some optional feature that disables the drag to move and instead have it drag to draw arrows. Or something like that. Oh also needs the ability to download puzzles for when offline.
Changed from 4 stars to two stars. I lost 4/5 games today due to “abandonment” in reality it was poor connection, each match I would disconnect for no more than 20 seconds at a time, most of the time I would reconnect with 10 seconds. It happens at most 3 times during a match. Shouldn’t be punished for bad connection, it’s chess not a first person shooter. If it’s that big a deal allow 2 minutes total for disconnection and then automatic forefit, you shouldn’t lose because you disconnected twice for a grand total of 30 whopping seconds. Not everybody is fortunate enough to have amazing internet. It can also run down your clock.

We do have many options for offline Chess, such as Pass&Play, playing against Computer or the Daily Puzzle. Please also try deleting and reinstalling the app, as well as confirming that your internet or data connection is stable. So close to being excellent
The app is good, but its so close to being perfect that it becomes a little annoying.. for example:
- you cant work on puzzles offline. Why? I get the whole profile oriented approach, but can it not cache the puzzles until it goes back online? Other apps do this successfully.
- the daily puzzle is not available at the start of a new day in my location. Maybe im missing something in my settings, but i need to wait until midday depending on where i am in the world to do it. Seems like its set on north america’s clock. I enjoy doing a few puzzles in the morning, so this is pretty annoying when you cant keep a streak going..
- every now and then it has issues logging me in, or logs me out of the app randomly if ive been offline for a while. Again, why? Should it not be able to allow me to use it offline and save the progress for when i go back online?
Again, the app is good and i enjoy it, and this is why i feel strongly about the small details that bring it down when i think it could be perfect.. hope the feedback helps the dev team
