ClassPass: Fitness, Spa, Salon 4+

I used to do yoga all the time and since I had to give it up (too expensive) my mental health really suffered. ClassPass gave me the ability to go back to it at an affordable price. It’s great for trying out new classes and it’s a fun thing to share between friends that doesn’t involve going out!

I am a long time ClassPass user (150+ classes) who has spent hundreds on this subscription and referred multiple users. I used to LOVE (and I mean *love* this app) but several new updates have made me discontinue using the app- including not being able to upgrade your plan early and having to buy additional credits, the price increase in credits (no longer makes sense to get more expensive plans because you save nothing), preference given to new users in terms of offers/upgrades. Unfortunately, ClassPass is not accessible anymore and other competitors have much better pricing. Plus the amount of ads they are running…surely customer retention should be a bigger priority for revenue than new user acquisition!

I use class pass for multiple gym classes in the area that are available on class pass however, it does not work. I receive an error message each time I book a particular class and I have messaged them for months about it. The support keep on telling me to update my details which I do each time however it still fails. The support from the app is the reason why I have only given 1 star. I have had to spend additional money booking with the gym direct after paying my monthly subscription and support just ignore this the whole time. It’s very disappointing having to deal with the lack of support. I would be cautious to any new users of the app. Make sure you try before you buy.
