Coinbase Easy and Honest
I previously used Coinbase to buy BTC to trade on another platform without any problem. However this did require an extra step to transfer the BTC. Recently the platform added credit card purchase of BTC. Oh my god I spent five evenings over three weeks supplying info, photos of me holding up a printed message, my card with middle digits covered, a video of me saying I was not under duress to buy BTC and right down to my dogs name but still no success. Emails and chats followed and finally they blamed a third party payments company whom I couldn’t contact. I came back to Coinbase, added a credit card and had my BTC in less than five minutes. Bravo Coinbase.

What’s up with all the outrageous fees? Cashing out was simple and quick, to PayPal If you buy, buy in bulk and wait for a significant growth before cashing out in order to cancel out the fees. Can you please shine some more light on guarantees of ownership? How do I know that if my wallet makes a fortune you won’t cancel my ability to cash out in the app? Seems too good to be true, invest only money you don’t need.
Update: just because you responded to this review and you have an explainer of your fees doesn’t make it right. A fee to deposit and a fee to withdraw, it just screams shady. Do you need to make money off your users that bad, does this mean you can’t make money off of crypto investments? You are only staying a float by profiting off of fees from your users who may or may not have lost a lot of money?

One star for ridiculous fees
Easy to use etc but to charge a Euro to transfer a Euro is a joke and the fees for transfers appear to be random amounts and completely disproportionate for small time traders starting out! Also being forced to empty my Euro wallet just to use my debit card also seems a joke as it took even more money in fees. Forget profiting from BTC, they’re making a mint charging customers for simple transfers.
