Solid out! Can't fault it!!!
As reliable as transportation services
App continuously has “technical problems” so not reliable when it comes to buying tickets if if you’re in a rush. Often disconnects you and when trying to reconnect, takes forever to let you access your ticket which results in you being fined as controllers have no understanding nor patience to wait. You can of course reclaim a refund with proof that you had a valid ticket but of course, said refund won’t be full as they take “administrative fees” as well.
In short, not reliable.
Mediocre App but abhorrent train system
App is mediocre to use. It did bill me for a ticket that never went through. I don’t understand why DB is such a bad system though. Germany is supposed to be renowned for their trains and punctuality. Been living in Germany for 3 years and I think 70% of trains so far have had delays. Glad I’m leaving the country soon but they should really really really fix their train system. Whatever happened to the German efficiency??
