obsessed but kinda tired
I love this game, I play it everyday just like it’s sister game Covet. I just wish they’d use the same feature as Covet that all purchased items are infinitely reusable. Paying 10,000 for an item is ridiculous if you’re limited to using is only 5 times. Also the option of being a part of a Design House would be great too, as borrowing items from facebook friends is difficult if 0 of my friends play. When all’s said and done I love the game but these are major flaws.
Money fiends
Game is good if they atleast offered you more diamonds especially when you take your time doing offers then they ask for proof that you did them when nearly all offers in the UK and Ireland are to do a quiz or read an article. When you are completing the offer you don’t think you will need to screenshot each page with each page taking 5 mins to load anyways for only 300 diamonds! You have to literally email the customer service several times. Several times I’ve also been told there is nothing they can do for me when it should clearly show that anyone who clicked into the article kept clicking all over the page! Money is made by amount of clicks it doesn’t take a genius to know that but it doesn’t take a single brain cell to realise that this game only gives you a certain amount of diamonds so you end up using real money and buying more. I’m absolutely sick of this game I actually enjoy designing and the challenges but the game is really just not being great to its customers/players. Voting is ridiculous too nobody can get 5 stars unless they put in about 500€ into the game. APPALLING
So much potential
I was so excited when I found this game! I used to be a big Covet fan (and a paying player) until I got tired of it. It wasn’t the dev’s fault, it was the other players (ball gowns to a rave anybody?). I was so looking forward to this one, but in this case the problem is the game, not the people. I don’t like that you can only use the items a few times, it makes me not want to spend real money on the game if things are going to disappear! Some items are expensive, yes, but if there were no limits to the number of times you can use them, I would gladly spend money to build a decent collection. This way I don’t see the point in spending real money on something that won’t even be there for me to use after a few challenges. I almost got my husband, sister and mother to play, but discovering this (and that it really does have a negative impact on the playability) was such a disappointment, I told them to forget it! So 5 stars for the concept and -2 for the execution.
