Terrible support

They don’t treat customers seriously, they ban users without verification or asking for further information and they don’t answer to emails. When having an active subscription with them, if they disable your account, money are still taken from your account. If your have a popular server and you apply for a partnership they reject it, but they don’t give you a clear reason why, only stupid jokes. You’re obligated to apply for a partnership because when having more than 4000 active users the server is very very slow. A few months ago I told them there is a terrible security bug, but they didn’t answer me yet. I have so many things to complain about... but who cares? :))))

Three Minute Call Timer Kickout

After the new update, you cannot stay in a call longer than 3 minutes alone. This should of been a choice, and a feature you can turn off and on, on mobile. Being able to stay on the call after my boyfriend leaving was comforting, especially if they can join anytime. But that feature is gone now and makes using discord feel lonely and disconnected in long distant relationships.

That feature was perfect if people wanted to sleep with each other on call. It’s not helpful if I or my boyfriend crashes in the middle of the night and then being unable to join because the call automatically closes after three minutes. It’s unfair. I miss that feature and Discord has been our comfort place to be on call, and for many other people. Having the call open is comforting. So please make it an option to take away the three minute marker, or an option to have it on or off for us. I feel dreaded when Clyde kicks us out and neither one of us is unable to join back. Please. We could really appreciate it :( It would make Discord more considerate for couples like us who use your app as a comfort space. Thank you, and would appreciate the feedback on this, speaking on behave of me and many long distant couples.

FORCED UI UPDATE

now as i write this, i have NOT updated. i’ve turned off automatic updates and for as long as this new UI is being forced upon us, my discord will remain in this version. right up until it’s no longer supported if needed.
when the new UI came out, i tested it for a day. i was asked for feedback upon disabling it where i left a LENGTHY summary about why it’s such a bad idea. i’m sure other people probably did the same because evidently everyone has strong feelings about this. obviously the feedback went unread. i understand people have worked hard on this update, and no one wants to undermine that work, however, the UI update is probably the worst decision discord has made.
the app was PERFECT before.
discord, for new users, is already quite confusing and can take some time to get used to. i strongly believe this UI update will only make that worse and deter new users from giving the app a chance. as someone who’s been using discord for 6 years, the new UI was unbelievably confusing for me.
it feels clunky, things feel like they’re in the wrong place, and overall feels messy and overbearing.
give people back the freedom to use whatever UI they like. i’m sure some people out there like the new update, so let them have it. don’t make the rest of us suffer.

TLDR: bring the old UI back. no one likes the new one!
