Seems to work well for me
I've only used it a couple of times but so far so good.
Dreadful
I downloaded the free version, and hoped that the pro version might be better. Sadly I was mistaken.
I have thousands of photos that were across three Macs, I imported them all onto my new MacBook Pro and hoped ths app would sort through and remove the duplicates.
I was mistaken. It got rid of many certainly, but I'm having to go through them all manually as there are still literally hundreds of duplicates still in Photos. When I look through, each photo is idential in name, size and visual aspects so I cannot see why it cannot find them, and yes, I've scanned four times.
The point of this app is to save time finding and removing duplicates. As it has singly failed to do this, it deserves a rating to match its usefulness.
Cheap and Good but a few glitches
I am in desperate need of this app. With over 18,000 images amassed from multiple files I was searching for free options, but decided I’d pay a little and get a better service. It doesn’t cost much and it crashed a couple of times but I finally got it to work and I love the non-destructive process. You select your source. I then did ctrl A to select all images. It then moves it to a folder in my Photos App and I can review them before I finally delete them. Pretty easy. And I’ve saved nearly 6GB of space!
