Description
With eir Talk you can make and receive calls anywhere on any device. eir Talk also enables you to make and receive multiple simultaneous calls on one account, gives you easy access to your Call Management Services and useful features like 3 Way Calling and Call Transfer.
The eir Talk App is available free-of-charge to all eir Broadband Talk customers. Registration couldn't be easier, all you have to do is enter your My eir customer username and password.
Each eir Broadband Talk number can be provisioned on up to 5 devices.

App no longer works
I’ve used the app sporadically to make calls with my home phone number provided by Eir.
Today I tried to log in and only receive “An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be established”. The last time the app was updated was five years ago and it wasn’t even Eir that updated it! Apple updated the app to show the Apple Watch icon. Seems the app has been abandoned.
Absolutely terrible service
My TV freezes, my broadband is poor and my mobile was cut off while on holiday in France because “they” said I’d used up my plan, but I had unlimited calls texts etc and I’d kept monitoring my usage as I was only using basic txts. The technical dept are very very poor and the service haven’t a clue. I was lucky when they increased my contract price as it gave me an out so I’ve gotten away lightly from EIR.
Abandoned app.
eir call centre advised downloading the app to help resolve some issues I was having on my landline and fibre connection. It would appear they too were unaware of the SSL issue and no updates on the App. This best describes Irelands worst performing telco. One half does not communicate with the other and the whole organisation does not communicate with its customers 😡
The single star is for the call centre staff who answer the phone…………. Eventually.
