Fantastic app
Took a bit to get it all to work , but I think that was my WiFi more than anything else !
For me it’s great, invoiced can be printed while I’m doing something else
Difficult to use
This application has a poor user experience. Basic configuration is not obvious. I spent hours trying to connect printer to Mac on home WiFi . After downloading driver app, When it doesn’t find the printer or network Troubleshooting is non existent. There don’t appear to be manual configuration options to change WiFi settings. Eventually I found manual IP address configuration. I printed a short text file and the printer outputs raw postscript . Everything is going through the printer as an access point. I’m thinking of returning the printer as it is unusable. Btw I’m 35 years working in IT .
Cannot print directly from device must use app
With previous air printers, I was able to print directly from the document/webpage on screen to the printer, with the Epson ET-2811 I am forced to use the app each time and then select a document or photo to print, which means Epson must access all my documents and photos before I can print. In addition I cannot print directly from a webpage - first must save as a document or photo before it can be printed via the App.
I’m sorry that I bought this and would prefer a direct AirPrint printer.
