Forge of Empires is based on our successful browser strategy game which was published by InnoGames in the summer of 2012.
It was awarded Best Browser Game 2013 by the jury at Deutscher Computerspielpreis (German Computer Game Award).
Finally, the online strategy game is available for iOS as well, providing cross-platform access.

Cannot find my friend
Forge of Empires is a really great game, I love the way you start in stone age and go up to the most modern age.
Theres only 1 problem. When i click find friends and type my friend’s name correctly it wont show him. My name is simpler so i let my friend type it and he couldn’t find me. We even sent each other screenshots and typed everything exactly the same to be completely sure but we still didn’t find each other. I would give Forge of Empires a 5 star rating if I could find my friend. If you please fix the issue I would appreciate it and probably some other players that cannot find their friend. Thank you.
Great game, keeps me sane while parenting
I've been playing for well over a year, and reached last era (virtual future) without spending any cash (sorry innogames). So ignore reviewers who say this is a pay to play game. I find it a highly challenging, satisfying game with new side quests and challenges added all the time.
It requires patience, strategy and intelligent use of available space.
My only criticism is that the field battle mode is a quite flat and dull (compared to, say BOOM BEACH). It's like chess more than street fighter 2 (yes, I'm nearly 40). Also, it's addictive and eats into time i sound be creative. But that's my fault, not Innogames.
And as a new parent who can't get out much/doesn't want to be wasted while parenting, it's a nice way to have fun, and relax, without compromising my ability to be on duty when required.
