Description

Make calculating and logging air measurements quicker and easier with this tool.


Maintaining good air flow volumes in your cotton gin is key to achieving good efficiency. This app allows you to easily calculate, log and share air measurements to keep all of your air based systems working well.


For each location you want to record air volume, simply enter the average velocity pressure (from your pitot tube readings) and the pipe dimension(s). The app can handle circular pipes or ducts.


The calculated results display both the air velocity in feet per minute (FPM) and the air volume rate in cubic feet per minute (CFM).


When measuring more than one location, each location’s measurements can be logged into a data table. You can custom name each data point as well as enter that location’s static pressure (optional).


Once you have collected all of your data, mail the data table to yourself or share it with others.


Designed for use by our field engineers in their work in cotton gins with drying systems and moisture restoration systems. Works for other air systems in a cotton gin, as well as other industries with air based systems.
