VeriFLY: Fast Digital Identity 4+

I cannot believe that I responded to an email from Aer Lingus and downloaded this app. I then proceeded to follow the instructions on the app. Having completed everything I had to queue at Dublin airport and produce all paper documents at boarding areas and departure gates. The one time that I produced the phone to show verifly the lady laughed and asked me had I not noticed everybody else showing the regular pass. Luckily I had them printed off.
This seems like a scam to get information.

Quick update: there are 3 x 5* reviews… one is recent and the caption is “Disappointed”… the other two are BOTH from Jan 29 and the first two reviews… these guys can’t even game the system, never mind write a decent app. And yes, to echo the sentiments of the other reviews…Aer Lingus shame on you!

If I have to give one star, it is one too many. Told me I needed a negative covid-19 test result to get into Germany, despite multiple official sources saying vaccine passport was adequate. I did not get test. I am in Germany. Smells of opportunistic consultants and monolithic corporates with no budgetary oversight, one dumber than the other. Also telling me I need same negative test for Holland despite Dutch government’s beautifully clear outlining that I don’t (take note German govt. web admins and, umm also English speaking countries. Bravo Holland!) Hopefully I don’t have to eat my words, but the Dutch having tighter controls than Germany…hmm. I get this is a fluctuating situation but one small dedicated team could manage it…Daon you had one job…

VeriFLY had been a total nightmare mare of an experience. Nothing has worked to upload my vaccination records and I will now have to spend hours at the airport attempting to have them verified. VeriFLY SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK.I’m going to change from Aer Lingus that I have used for 40 years to one of the other airlines that fly in and out of JFK. Why are the emails sent as no reply? Where can you be contacted when your system does not work? I have traveled all over the world and have never had an experience like VeriFLY. I will be on the Irish radio an TV station telling everyone in the country my experience so they will not have to go through the SYSTEM THAT DOES NOT WORK like I have had to. I will also get in touch with the Minister Eammon Ryan that deals with travel and inform him of VeriFLY system that does not work. You have ruined my first trip in 3 years to visit my family. I sincerely hope that you will not be allowed to ruin other peoples trips
