This digital notepad and PDF markup tool covers all the bases. Create notes with your keyboard or Apple Pencil: the app transforms your hand-drawn shapes into perfect ones, and can even convert your handwriting to text.

Finally!!! Money well spent.

I've never managed to find anything that is as good as Notes on Ipad with an Apple pencil.
Love everything about this app, but especially:
- choice of papers, orientation and covers as standard. Like the fact you can scroll right or scroll down, like the fact you can insert a different page orientation and format into an existing book on a page by page basis. Like the fact that you can write / type on your book cover to identify contents rather than just the cover pattern/colour.
- The pen choices / colours are as per notes, but unlike other competitor apps are really easy to use / switch etc. The settings also allow you to default to writing with pen and swiping with fingers, so unlike other apps, you don't end up repeatedly swiping scribbles everywhere (or is that just me?)
- BEST of all, you can use almost any template from anywhere (incl. clouds other than icloud) in many file formats including spreadsheets and PDFs, so every planner, note taking format works like a dream. Works great, loving it.

Ideas

I have been using goodnotes for a while and its an amazing app. Would highly recommend, especially for college students.

Sometimes the "copy page" and "paste page" glitches and doesn't work but if you close and reopen its fine again. Only bug I've noticed.

I want to share an idea and I hope that the developers see this. I would LOVE to see an eraser feature that only erases a specific colour and does not erase everything else. For example. A black and blue drawing where the lines are inter-twined. This eraser can be activated to only erase the colour blue, and erase all of the blue without removing any black or any other colour. Would be so helpful!!!
