Ratings and Reviews
Very good mapping app
I'm quite passionate about maps and this app ticks a lot of boxes. It is well laid out and simple to use with a lot of functionality and flexibility. Caching maps by scrolling works well and it is easy to import/export files. I use it for recording car journeys where I find it has a more accurate speedo than the one built into my car. I use it to create gpx files on my bike that I then upload to Strava. If it could synchronise dropped pins across devices and therefore allow me to plan routes on my desktop it would be perfect for all my needs.
Basic but nice
Pretty good, it does not do any navigation or anything, it's purely for viewing maps, I like the UI with circular buttons, minimalistic.
I'd change three things though...
1. I wish that bookmarks were either free or the author created a pro version of this app or something, I hate in-app purchases, I want to buy a full app and no depend on restoring an in-app purchase and be depended on some remote server.
-2 stars for this.
2. The icon and the application start screen, I don't like them TBH.
3. I'm not sure whether it's possible but if there was an ability to drop multiple pins around and measure distances... i.e. drop one pin on one part/road of the city and drop another pin in another part and measure distance between those two pins using the roads, like iPhone's Maps shows the distance when you choose directions.
