Helpling is an innovative online marketplace, helping you to connect with insured domestic cleaners. With our app, you can find and book insured domestic cleaners in your area and conveniently manage your bookings. Simply create a profile or use your existing Helpling customer details to access the app. The Helpling app is only available for customers in Germany, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Australia and Singapore.
** How Helpling works **
1. Enter your postcode to see if there are any cleaners in your area
2. Choose frequency, duration and date
3. Enter your contact information
4. The cleaner will attend on the agreed date once confirmed

I have been using this app for more than 6 months, and had 4 different cleaners.
The first thing to know is that these so called « cleaners » are just random people looking for easy money.
In order to get registered as a cleaner, you only need name, phone number and email (no ID or experience verification).
So these cleaners basically come to your place to be paid chilling for 2 to 4 hours on your couch.
Most of the time, the cleaning tasks were not executed and I could notice they connected to my loud speakers for example.
They would also not notify you if they needed less time to do the cleaning, so they get all the money and you continue to book them for more time than needed.
If only you could chose your cleaner depending on their rates and reviews... but not even. So don’t bother rating your cleaner because it will not be useful for the next user.
Lastly, I feel lucky I have never robed (not that I know at least) because, when reading the insurance policy of the app, you won’t find any information about stealing insurance.
To summarize, AVOID THIS APP AND HIRE PROPER CLEANERS!
Do they even know what they are doing?
Registered and installed the app. It showed a list of local cleaners - probably 20 or so. Selected one with the best reviews.
Since then it started to bombard me with emails saying I need to select more cleaners so I get a chance to have my order fulfilled. Ok, trying to “Add more cleaners” - “There is currently no one available, please try again later”. Tried to expand to a full week, change hours - nothing helps. Fantastic, I can’t cancel the booking, I can’t add cleaners and I get email every 6 hours or so for several days already.
Emailed support - no response yet.
I want to say this is a scam, but seems like they just don’t care.
