Welcome to the new HERE WeGo!
HERE WeGo is a free navigation app that guides local and global travelers on journeys both familiar and foreign. The app now has a fresh, new design and clearer, easier to use navigation.
Enjoy a more carefree journey and reach your destination effortlessly, however you need to get there. Get there on foot with easy-to-follow walk guidance. Take public transport in more than 1,900 cities around the world. Or use turn-by-turn voice guidance with accurate driving directions and go by car. You can even find parking at your destination and get guided directly to it.
Visit the same places often? Save them in a collection to stay organised and find them easier. Or use shortcuts to get directions to them in one click.
Need to make an extra stop or want to go a specific way? Simply add waypoints to your routes and HERE WeGo guides you there.
Want to save your mobile data and stay on course even without an internet connection when travelling? Download a map of a region, country or continent and complete your journey while staying totally offline.
HERE WeGo also works with Apple CarPlay® so you can enjoy world-class navigation in your car's built-in display.

We listened to your feedback! With offline maps, you can now start, pause, resume or cancel map updates. We'll also send you alerts so that you can update all offline maps in one go.

One of the best
I used Here maps in a previous incarnation and had saved many attractions. When I saw that I could log in I tried my Here Maps email and password and was amazed that ALL my previous attractions were saved. I've used Navtec maps for years when there was only 1 other mapping company Tele Atlas. Navtec were always the best. Nokia bought Navtec and had Here Maps installed so if anyone used them on Nokia phones back in the day like me they won't have lost any attractions so long as they have their login details, took me a while to get mine.
I highly recommend this app.
I would have given 5 stars but
The app is going down hill since the last 2.x. version.
1- This problem has been there forever now, when in online mode if the internet is bad or network issue, a search would never use offline maps for searching unless it is turned back to offline mode. The search should fall back to offline search if map exists.
2-Why the vertical scroll ? Really why !! The initial UI where you could just click a button and find an item, now it's all a mess and the UI is like a puzzle.
3-Maps should be sequentially downloaded once selected qnd and the required space should be calculated in accordance with maps selected for download.

This app is just fantastic, no matter where you go in the world. I use it all the time. But learnt the hard way that I should have downloaded the maps of Hawaii before I went. Got lost in the mountains in a storm. Since then I’ve used it in Europe and the states. It was a great help to all the guest who flew in for a wedding in Portugal this year. Hopefully it will be off the same benefit to many of our guest in May next year for a wedding in Palm Springs.
