The HKC App, will allow end users to remotely control their security system. The App offers easy set & unset commands, push notification (with audible annunciation), fully functional keypad, log interrogation and, depending on your system control panel, output switching.
Note: In order to use this App you must have a HKC alarm system that is setup with an account with the HKC SecureComm cloud service.

App works very well allowing you to arm and disarm the system remotely. The interface is very dated and could do with a makeover.
HKC have a monthly service charge for using the App and this should be dropped. I have a Honeywell heating system and there is no charge for controlling the system remotely. Honeywell also have a great support system with regular updates.

The HKC app is very dated, the notifications are delayed up to 3-5h and certain features are not available like recording voice memos ( only available via physical control panel but not via app). The log entry data are in some random order so if you want to know when certain window or doors were open/close you have to review it all entry as order is random. Despite high prive of the app the SecureComm just increased monthly fee - it is joke. The app should be free for all customers who are paying monthly subscription. Bottom line do not bother with the app use standard sms notification - faster and cheaper.
I’ve been using the app for over two years and find it great, when it actually works. For the last two months it’s been slow and unresponsive. Whenever it gives a connectivity error, it says check your mobile reception or WiFi, but these are always working. The alternative is to contact your alarm installer. The App seems to be very glitchy and poorly supported by the developer / alarm manufacturer directly with the consumer. How will my alarm installer help with an app they have nothing to do with?
