This doesn't work unless given a completely unnecessary location permission. Without it, i can't add any devices to my account. There is no legitimate reason why a remote control for a washing machine should be tracking anyone's location... very scammy.

Uninstalling, and will report to Apple for making unreasonable permissions requests.

Dear Customer, the only purpose of the permission you give is to connect your appliances with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Besides, you can choose “Share only once” or “Share only while using” for location permission. Because it is needed only for connection purposes.

Can’t even sign up to create an account. Doesn’t get passed a page to read and confirm some legal documents. It just pops up with a blank page with nothing to confirm. And then there’s nowhere to go from there.

Too much personal data to share, too long to setup, location, silly way to use password and can’t use without gps. Why? Only trying to connect my washing machine!
