Description
The HSE DBT app supports people attending DBT to learn DBT skills and track progress using helpful videos and hints.
Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) helps people who have ongoing difficulties managing strong emotions.
These difficulties can lead to mental health difficulties such as depression, eating disorders, self-injury, and suicide. Part of DBT teaches people skills to better manage intense emotions.
The HSE DBT App helps people attending DBT programmes to:
● learn DBT skills
● reminds you to use DBT skills
● know which DBT skills to use in which situations
● record your progress against your treatment goals
You can only access this app by invitation from a DBT therapist or Family Connections Facilitator.
