Description

Winner of the 2021 iF Design Award 2021. Bluelink 2.0 takes linking your smartphone to your Hyundai to another level: The new Bluelink app enhances your Hyundai driving experience even further with a whole new look and even more Connected Car features. Find your Hyundai, or use the map feature to find parking, fueling stations, nearby restaurants, or other points-of-interest. Then simply send the destination to the navigation system in your car.

You can also use your phone as a remote to lock or unlock your car, and, if you drive a Hyundai electric vehicle, the app lets you control charging, as well as cooling or heating.

Here’s a list of our most popular connected car features:
1. Find my car: Never forget where you parked again. A map pins your Hyundai’s exact location.
2. Send to car: Find parking spaces, fuel stations, restaurants or other points of interest and send the destination to your in-car navigation system.
3. Vehicle report: Monthly reviews of vehicle starts, driving and idle time, driving distance.
4. My trips: See a summary of previous trips including journey time, distance driven, average and top speeds.
5. Vehicle status: Check in on fuel or charging level, doors and windows, heat or air conditioning, and battery level and lamps.
6. Remote door lock/unlock: Lock and unlock your vehicle.
7. Remote climate control (EV only): Set the temperature and activate the air conditioning remotely.
8. Remote charging (EV & PHEV): Check and control the charging process.
9. View around My Vehicle: Turn on the camera in the outside mirror to see what it currently sees.
10. Alarm: Receive notifications when the door locks are compromised.
11. User Profile: Save your profile and car settings to the Bluelink-Cloud for backups and transfers to a new Hyundai.
12. Valet Parking Mode (select models): Monitor your car (location, driving time, driving distance and top speed) while somebody else is driving.
13. Last Mile Navigation: If your destination can’t be reached by car, the app can take you there on foot.
14: Calendar: Sync your phone’s calendar with the app.
15. Personalisation: Turn features on and off and customise your app’s home screen.

Unreliable

When it’s working no issues. Very happy with it. However when it’s not, such as today, you can’t see where your cars charging is at and it’s very frustrating. I had an issue with charging the car today at a public ChargePoint and I wonder is it to do with this issue. Is it the app or the car…?

The joys of ev’s

I'm in shock as to how basic and how many errors this app has

Considering this can control your car, I find it appalling quality of this app. It should be regulated better as it can do damage!! It has been down for a day and a half. I got stuck in a charger and could not disconnect. Luckily, there was a manual way to disconnect on my keys that I learned from
Google. You need to pull to refresh your car status, which can leave you thinking you have more charge than you do. Surly a appsync or sockets could be used for automatic refresh. There are no smart shortcuts to get you to start charge or open the door, and initially refresh was hidden when we first got the app behind a button which was super confusing as a new user. Considering my Ionic tech is so great, the app just lets EVs down! Sorry for the candid feedback but the team needs to know.

Mr Numnuts ,

Could do with more handy features

I bought a new Tucson Hybrid and unfortunately all the app does is show if the car is locked and how much fuel I have and a few other statuses. It would be amazing on a winter’s morning if I could remotely defrost and heat the car before a school run but it seems just because my car isn’t fully electric I’m not allowed to which is a big shame. It’s ridiculous because I’m going to heat the car anyway. Other than that the app looks nice.

Developer Response ,

Dear User, as you've stated yourself, remote heating is only available for EVs. For the rest, we will forward your feedback to our developers. Best regards, your Bluelink Team
