JusTalk is great to talk to someone with a different make then apple if you don’t have a phone number. It is a easy app to use and doesn’t cost money. Although the adds pop up all the time it’s okay to just click skip. It’s a pretty easy app to teach a kid or grandparent how to use as well. If they made the FaceTime a little less glitchy then it would be perfect!

This is great! I love this app and it lets me talk to my friends with no scam messages and no random text messages aswell! One thing I would change though is how you need to put on the exact ID for someone to friend them. I wish there was like a scroll system to find people but still don’t have to put in their ID
Unsafe for kids + Misleading in app purchases
The app is full of bugs and parental controls are messy and unclear. The in app purchase to add a parent account is deliberately misleading offering two similarly named purchases. You cannot protect your child from adding strangers as friends unless you upgrade to the second in app purchase, but the first iap leads you to believe you can with this but you can’t. Only a simple multiplication sum protects the child which most kids can easily do from age 5. This app should be removed from the AppStore.
