Subscription purchases are charged to your iTunes account upon confirmation of the purchase. All subscriptions will AUTOMATICALLY be renewed unless the auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will be charged a renewal price equal to that of the original subscription within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renew by going to your Account Settings after the purchase. Subscriptions are non-refundable and may not be cancelled during an active subscription period.

Ratings and Reviews
Great app for keeping a child engaged in learning guitar
The exercises where you record your number of chord changes per minute really keep a child interested because it’s like a game to them. Same goes for playing along to the tracks, with the lyrics and chord prompts really making it fun and easy to learn. Being able to slow the tempo to your current ability is great too.
This app is worth multiples of €70 subscription fee because it would well over €700 in private lessons for the same tuition...and it still wouldn’t be as enjoyable as using this app.
Song Player Taken Huge Step Back
I was a daily user of the previous app version and used it only for song practice, which I found to be a great experience. The new song player on the app is a very big step back and I’m really struggling with it.
- I can no longer place a capo for songs.
- the screen real estate is under utilised. I can follow the chord progression as well as before, we the visual player squished into only 40% of the screen.
- no longer any finger picking guidance for the songs.
- the strumming pattern and practice is confusing.
- I had been using the previous app for a year, successfully, but I cannot play songs correctly. The timing feels off, the song in the background isn’t as obvious to changes as the previous simplified mode.
- setting bpm in 10% chunks can be to rough. You can end up changing too high or too low compared to the old version.
- the old version worked well as the screen real estate was well optimised, as were the cues and chord progression.
I’m a big fan of Justin and his lessons, but really feel like the song player has been taken from workable to an overly basic interface which makes the backing tracks sounds better.
Fantastic for those who don’t sing
Great app along with Justin’s web based song lessons. The functionality is spot on for those who don’t sing or have others to play with but want to get that band vibe going in practise!
