Great mortgage calculator
It's great to see that this well established mortgage calculator now has an iOS app. It's quick and easy to input your key details. It also has a more in depth configuration if you require for other expenses, insurance, prepayments & extra regular payments. For me with a tracker mortgage, the most useful is the config is for interest rate changes.
The calculator has great tables showing interest, principal, balance and extra payments by year and month. My favourite output is the amortisation graph which shows the annual interest vs principal that you're paying.
The summary pane gives a sobering reminder of how much interest you'll pay over the entire term of your mortgage - it's more than you think!
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
