The LEGO® Super Mario™ app is the official companion app for the ever-expanding range of LEGO® Super Mario™ building sets. The app enhances the creative experience for builders with digital instructions, tips for different ways to rebuild levels and play, and other inspiring features.
With the LEGO® Super Mario™ app you can:
• Establish a Bluetooth® connection between the app and brick-built LEGO® Mario™, LEGO® Luigi™ and/or LEGO® Peach™ figures.
• Build your sets, easily add them to your digital collection and expand your personalised LEGO® Super Mario™ universe (combining Expansion Sets with a Starter Course for interactive play).
• Get easy-to-follow 3D building instructions for all of your LEGO® Super Mario™ building sets.
• Watch instructional Play Videos packed with tips and tricks to take your skills to the next level.
• Keep track of your digital coins after completing a level in real life with at-a-glance results for collected coins, defeated enemies and completed obstacles.
• Put your skills to the test with an inspiring collection of fun Play Challenges.
• Save your favourite LEGO® Super Mario™ moments to your gallery and share your creations.
• Create or sign in to your LEGO® Account to synchronise your progress across all your devices.
• Pin your favourite creations that others have shared so you can easily find them again.

App update = more of the good stuff for you:
Three new sets, three new adventures: Egg-hatching with Yellow Yoshi and Pink Yoshi; driving in Bowser’s muscle car (get ready for honking and things that go boom); and an underwater shipwreck adventure complete with treasure chest. Ka-ching!
The easiest way ever to find sets in-app: Scroll through the catalogue, search by set name or number, or scan the QR code from your building instructions. Ta-da! You found it.

Great but App crashes
We have really enjoyed Lego Mario for the past number of months and have gotten through 7 or 8 expansion packs already! However our latest Christmas present is unfortunately unusable due to the app constantly crashing! We have tried all previous advice regarding closing background apps and have tried on multiple devices - hopefully this issue is fixed soon so that we can get back to building as it has caused quite an amount of distress

Good but with drawbacks
I enjoy using the app with my son as the instructions are very clear, the ability to rotate the build to make sure you have it right is an excellent feature. Registering sets to make new courses is fun and the course creator is good, although we have not used it much at the moment
The draw backs are it crashes all the time, normally you reload and it’s fine if a little annoying but I couldn’t get it to get to the end of bag 13 of bowsers airship, luckily I can figure out end but a bit of a pain one the less. The other issue is it eats battery at a fairly fast rate, much faster than other apps

Server issue fixed - child loves the app and Mario Lego
Updated review as the server issue that caused the app crashes has been fixed - thank you for the quick response.
My child loves the Mario Lego and the app.
He finds the app very easy to use when building the sets and the instructions are easy for him to follow. He likes seeing the instructions in 3D - especially as he can change the angle of the pictures.
The different areas that appear when selecting the different sets are great and the videos showing the actions Mario can take are brilliant for a young child.
