Meeting attendance status
Meeting attendance status (I’m going/On waitlist) doesn’t seem to align between the web view of an event to logged in view when I use an the app. Need to fix status in the web view to align with the correct status available in the app.
Really helpful in getting to meet new people and find friends
I’ve been using this app for years now. And the only thing that bothers me is that when you select events for a particular day (today/tomorrow/this weekend..)it defaults to best match. The better thing would be that the setting stay (as the user -me!-previously selected) at the 3 km radius. This would prevent irrelevant meet up is coming up, ie those outside of my area.
Otherwise it’s working just fine. I applaud the organizers for each of the groups that foot the bill for the monthly subscription to operate a group via the app.
Lifesaver
I’ve been a member of Meetup since 2014 and if it wasn’t for this I’d be still sitting at home with nowhere to go and no one to go out with. It was scary the first time I went to an event but everybody made me feel welcome. I’ve had a great few years with them and would never want to give it up.
