Can't download it
Woul dlove this but it won't let me download it for some reason
Buggier than an Anthill
It is a shame Messenger works so poorly, as having a desktop app with theoretically lower power consumption would be amazing for such a commonly used app. However Messenger is prone to crashing, handles calls very poorly, and has a problem where it seems to open multiple copies of itself which can slow down your computer and eat your battery life. The web version is similarly a mess, but at least when it breaks it doesn't take down your computer with it.
Works quite well, but has some bugs and uses a lot of memory
I didn't have many problems with the app, apart from the fact that with time (and I tend to keep the app opened) the app consumes more and more memory until it either adversely impacts the system and I have to kill it or it crashes on its own.
From my biggest pet peeves though is that it forces spelling check in English, even though I communicate in 2 other languages as well and I can't change this behaviour.
