THE EASY TO FOLLOW PROGRAMME INSPIRED BY THE LIFE-CHANGING BESTSELLER MINDFULNESS: FINDING PEACE IN A FRANTIC WORLD
TRACK AND REVIEW YOUR PROGRESS TO A HAPPIER LIFE
Life can be relentless, frantic and exhausting – but it doesn’t have to be this way.
Mindfulness: Frantic World reveals a set of simple yet powerful practices that can be incorporated into daily life to help break the cycle of unhappiness, stress, anxiety and mental exhaustion, and promote genuine joie de vivre. By investing just a few minutes each day, you can you can be back in control and able to enjoy life again.
The free app includes the first week of the eight-week mindfulness programme included in the life-changing bestseller Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World, so that you too can try the programme which has helped millions of readers already. The full, easy-to-follow programme is available as an in-app purchase.
Mindfulness focuses on promoting joy and peace rather than banishing unhappiness. It’s precisely focused to help ordinary people boost their happiness and confidence levels whilst also reducing anxiety, stress and irritability.
This app is based on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). MBCT revolves around a straightforward form of mindfulness meditation which takes just a few minutes a day for the full benefits to be revealed. MBCT has been clinically proven to be at least as effective as drugs for depression and it is recommended by the UK's National Institute of Clinical Excellence – in other words, it works. More importantly it also works for people who are not depressed but who are struggling to keep up with the constant demands of the modern world.

Very good intro to mindfulness

App a bit buggy but meditations excellent -a great way to learn mindfulness for beginners

Get the book instead

I have been a fan of this book for a few years. I no longer have a CD player so thought the app would fill the gap as access the recordings online was clunky. The design of the app is not good and in a way is too faithful to the book. I did not realise that all the recordings were in one place at the end which would have saved a lot of searching. The functionality in each week does not match the instructions. This could be so much better if the capability of an app was used to a greater extent. Still I do like having access to meditations on and off line

Meditation isn't easy, and That's ok

I am infatuated with Prof. Mark Williams paternal tones, that I have been listening to his voice for many years. It's a comfort space, somewhere I can go and feel safe. Meditation isn't easy, and Williams reminds you of this. It's a guided meditation- yes he talks a lot- but it's a journey he is bringing you on. After 5 years of hearing his voice, I still listen every day I can to grab my piece of peace.
