Punishing process, lovely prints.
I bought a printer for my birthday, what a stupid thing to make! The app never opened. It’s crashing at login.
Update 1: I managed to open the app, and connect to the printer, by shutting down the WiFi. I printed one lovely picture, now the printer is blocked because of paper jam. It’s an interesting way to spend an afternoon!
Update 2: for a few minutes the printer would print a pic, then paper jam, then spit a picture. So each print would take 3 bits of very expensive zinc paper. To avoid that, make sure the paper is stacked exactly against the lower exterior extremity. And my printer prints with a bluehint. I wonder if it’s because it’s a sunny day here and I have a red printer . I will recalibrate at night to check.
So if you want to print, shut down the WiFi (not Bluetooth) of your phone, then open the app, place the paper cautiously then seriously, good luck.
Update 3: Thank you for your answer dear Polaroïd. It took only 17 days! I’m glad I could find answers by myself. The blue hint was probably due to the sunshine on the red printer. I recalibrated at night and now it’s fine, and recommend you do the same if your blue printer prints a bit reddish, or yellow bluehish ...
Guys, if you read me, the app is way better and more functional than the precedent Polaroid Zinc one ( this is my third Polaroid printer), but I wish it was easier to check battery power and paper level. And you should definitely check the WiFi problem, or at least indicate it in the documentation. I remember having exactly the same one with a Polaroid Zinc a few years ago.
