MOBY - eMobility sharing 4+

This service went downhill fast. When I signed up I could get a bike around the corner from my house. Within 3 weeks that’s changed without warning. Now I can’t even cycle within 2.5 km of my house. I only realised this when the bike cut out on me for going outside the yellow zone.

You can’t even lock the bike anywhere aside of the designated stations anymore, which are too few to be in any way worth it. What’s the point of hiring a bike that leaves me that far from home when there are bleeper bikes everywhere?

The app is also extremely irritating to use. It’s slow to start up and bombards you with error messages when things go wrong. When I’m trying to view the map to see where I can get back into the yellow zone I don’t need a screen-filling red box each time I touch the screen to zoom on my location.

I wish I hadn’t put so much credit on my account so now I’m forced to use this rubbish service until I clear it.

I think this is a great start to the electric bike movement in Dublin. More parking points would be great.

I was cycling inside the red zone and it just stopped working and started bipping and locked, so I had to carried this bike locked for two kilometers. Customer service doesn’t work on the weekends when is most likely people will rent a bike! Unbelievable!! I’d never use this again ever!
