Have been unable to install the app on my iPhone which is still full supported by Apple and has the latest iOS installed. Keeps prompting with a message about “do you want to install Download” Selecting either yes or cancel leads to the install aborting. Installed the app “successfully” on my iPAD. App only displays in portrait and not in landscape, and does not render properly, so the header of the app appears halfway down the screen. Truely shocking, and is unfortunately in line with my overall experience dealing with Irish life health from when I started with my new employer in Feb 2023.

I had attended my GP and had an issue that didn’t clear up within a fortnight. I became concerned and wanted a 2nd opinion. I used the option to send a message to a doctor who would then revert within minutes with a reply. 2 days later, I am still waiting on a reply. I then requested a GP call, the first available appointment was almost 2 working days later. When the GP rang me, the notes that I had provided at booking had not been fully taken or passed over. So I had to waste time telling the story from the beginning again. The doctor told me my issue was vague (it was extremely specific) and she asked me one question about my issue and advised me to go to see my doctor. I advised that I had and she was very nonchalant and said well that’s all I can say. She was American and I felt that she didn’t understand what the system or options were in Ireland.This is the 2nd time I’ve used this service, both time’s extremely unsatisfactory and a total waste of time for both my and the doctor.It’s as if they’re charging for a service which is ‘go see your GP’ and charging for a visit.Appalling.

This app used to be decent which is why it looks like it’s got a rating of 4+ but with recent updates in the last year or so it has become unusable at times. Extremely buggy, often submit button doesn’t work or getting errors that say try again later. The process of adding claim which should be quick and easy requires too many steps. Then when you want to look back over old claims it doesn’t save the image so takes ages to cross compare with your hard copies. Please add more details when claims have been declined as the auto response is so vague most of the time. Lastly, the newest annoying thing is that now it won’t let me add any more claims as you are processing others/awaiting payment. You seriously expect us to add claims one by one and wait until each is fully processed to add another? Why aren’t you doing anything about this. Surely the product team are seeing this feedback on App Store???….

Hello,Two versions ago was better. At the moment, You can’t find your doctor unless you know his full name, including middle names. The GP details should be kept so that you don’t have to search for him each time. As soon as the claim type is GP, GP names come up, we are asked to confirm and it saves time. Selecting the picture, I have many pictures and wait for 5 receipts to make a claim. I set up a photo folder specially for claims but it wasn’t detected, it might be next time as I had to change the setting to view all pictures half way through the claim.So very frustrating to look for those pictures among the rest of them. Also, not being able to view the pictures, it’s not so easy to remember the date and amounts. So you need to go to your picture folder. The good thing is that you don’t get logged out of the app or claim.I found the other versions more intuitive. I don’t know how you create your new application versions, any customers involved in the process? What seems obvious from a developer point of view is not from a customer at times.
