What are Noa's editorial principles?
1. Multiple Perspectives: Offer multiple perspectives from trusted sources and empower listeners to make up their own minds on where they stand on a topic.
2. Thought-provoking: Present audio articles that inform, inspire, and offer fresh insights, through both a global and a national lens. Focus on opinion, feature, and analysis articles.
3. Storytellers: Be storytellers and educators. Help our listeners understand global topics, and perspectives, while also telling the stories of the people behind the headlines.
4. Global Impact: Ensure coverage and raise awareness of important topics, regardless of a topics popularity or ability to drive “clicks”.
5. Fourth Estate: Uphold journalism’s values as a democratic check on power. And always celebrate great journalism.
6. Embrace Complexity: Encourage thought and avoid black and white explanations that aren't followed with depth. The world is complicated and can seldom be explained in minutes. Our goal is to help listeners navigate it.

Fantastic way to consume news

NOA makes it surprisingly easy to consume news and even more surprisingly in my opinion.. makes it better. I would have always been on the fringe of news and read up on it when I stumbled across it but having it read to me allows me to consume more and be better informed. Also the people reading it are easy to listen to in an almost soothing way it will make you want to listen more..

Great app and couldn’t recommend it more!!

NOA is what you need if you want quick briefs on world and business matters that Matter!

Noa is a quick and good way of getting balanced perspectives on topics that are current and or important. CEOs or C-Suite executives plus anyone really interested in news/business would benefit from Noa. I love the series of curated articles. They're a very efficient and informative way of learning about a topic I don’t already know about. I'd love to see more localised topics in the future, along with daily news briefings."

Helps me understand the news

Noa Series have changed the way I stay informed. They provide short explainers at the beginning and then let you listen back to a selection of articles from multiple quality sources like the Financial Times, The Economist, The Independent and The New York Times. The readers are audiobook quality and the app is fast to load. You can also download articles and series and create your own audio queue. Works well on the London Underground.
