Amazing story, visual, and JRPG gameplay
I usually skip through the stories of these types of games because they tend to be meaningless boring fluff, but this game is different! The story is one of the best I’ve seen in a mobile game—or a console game for that matter!
The visuals also look amazing for a mobile game, and the gameplay surprisingly lives up to the original! I’ve actually been more excited to play this than the original!!
The rates are also decent for a Gacha game, however my one nitpick is they clearly didn’t adjust prices for different locations, causing the store to be wildly overpriced. But as a single player experience, it luckily doesn’t matter that much!
A pretty groundbreaking game in comparison to the majority!
The mixture of the nostalgia of the 2D meshed with 3D is the prefect balance between paying homage to past and present tech.
The characters and stories are engaging, well thought through, and thought provoking.
The ability to say “yes or no” to beginning certain quests adds a feeling of control and adds a somewhat personalised element to the story. It would be amazing to be able to expand the repertoire of impactful game choices in the future.
It’s great to be able to participate in the beginnings of something just might be around for quite some time.
