PayPal 4+

Love this app. So clear and simple to use. I use this for personal and business use and find it invaluable. Only restriction I have found is I seem to be unable to issue a refund from my business account on the app but can do that on my laptop so it's a very minor issue. Highly recommend this app to anyone.

It seems whenever you need to contact Paypal it takes an absolute age. Minimum 25 minute wait on phone.

If you need to change your business name as happens sometimes, the hassle is incredible. You give them all the documents, and it still doesn’t get processed. As a consequence of Paypal obligations, funds end up being with held the next time Paypal gets used. So all your history with a different business name is forgotten. It took 1 year in total for the business name to be changed and everything be as it should be. That is when there was available time to sit on the phone for half an hour to speak to customer service.

I know there is plenty of information on the Paypal app and webpage but it does not answer all queries.

Paypal needs to improve the customer service. Especially considering the amount deducted can amount to near 4% total. Plenty of other companies doing a better job for half as much.

I have been trying to change my legal name on my PayPal account for the past 4 weeks and I have found the whole experience extremely frustrating. I submitted all the required documents as outlined on the website. I have since been asked to submit further documents and each time having to wait at least a week for a response. I spoke to someone on the phone today to say that it will be sorted in 5 days. Absolutely shocking that this cannot be changed straight away given the length of time I have been waiting.
