Excellent way to send money
I first join paysend in 2019 I needed to verify my card details and prove of identification before sending money, I thought the process was too long but it’s a good way to minimize fraudulent activities, but in the end i got verified and It’s a good way to send money straight into a bank account or card. I hold my one star just Incase of any unforeseen incidence but I will come back to update my review. Thanks pay send for doing a good thing. By the way the customer service is awesome too.
Nice app, but the fees are ridiculous
The app is nice & easy to use, but the fees are very high. It says that the fees are fixed (1.5€), but in fact the commission is just included in the spread of conversion rate. That’s why there is a commission if you make a transfer in the same currency.
The in-app rate is 1 EUR = 439 KZT (March 17th 6pm UTC). At the same time, the real conversion rate (according to Google and Visa exchange rate) is 479 KZT, which makes almost 10% fee hidden in the spread. That’s too much, it’s cheaper to make a P2P payment in EUR and let Visa do conversion & take its fee.

Paysend displays the applicable exchange rate before you make a transaction. By cutting out all intermediaries and consequently lowering costs Paysend are able to offer extremely competitive exchange rates, providing the best possible value for our customers.
Please note, our exchange rates change on a daily basis. However, on some occasions they can fluctuate during the day depending on the volatility of the respective currency exchange markets. You will see the amount you are sending and the exact amount your recipient will receive before making a transaction.
