I love Pinterest but the app never works! The most common issue is search results don't load either at all or only the first few will load. Something which has started happening more recently is that the home page won't even load. The help section on the website notes this issue but the only solution it gives is to restart your phone/iPad but it is ridiculous to need to restart your device every time you want to use the app. There are regular updates but nothing has changed and this has been a problem for months. I really like the app when it is functioning properly I ajuste wish it would be more consistent!

Don’t get me wrong Pinterest is such a good app where you can look at other peoples ideas ( like palace pets ideas) create your own and it’s just so great, but there’s just this one thing. When Ive been scrolling through Pinterest for a while and I swipe and I accidentally kind of swipe down a little bit the screen just goes completely black. Now I don’t know if it’s just me because I’ve been reading a few of the other reviews and nobody has mentioned anything about this so maybe it’s just my phone. Now the other thing, if I have been scrolling through Pinterest for a while and I accidentally click on the return button it sends me all the way back up to the top and it’s so annoying so I suggest that yous add this thing so for while you’re swiping on Pinterest like have it automatically follow you? I don’t know something like that. But other than that I have no other complaints. Overall I would recommend this app to anyone who is on the verge of getting it and not getting it. Pinterest is an absolutely marvelous app. No matter what your interests are just search it out and you will get never ending ideas on the subject. I have gotten the most amazing recipes you can imagine on there, I have an enormous collection of cake recipes from Pinterest. Also, if you need decor ideas, there are unending ideas. I could go on and on. So many fashion ideas for every age. It makes you wonder how did we ever live without it before.

I really used to love pinterest, and most of the things that made it great are still there, but god, it feels like that in the last few months they decided to screw over their consumers and just pump as many ads as they can onto the platform. I dont mind ads at all, but i wish i was exaggerating when i say that there is genuinely more ads than actual pins. I’m not joking, scrolling through the homepage on my phone i dont think its possible to see more than two pins without seeing an ad. Beside another ad. With another ad underneath. Seriously, it makes the app virtually unusable. And most of the ads are pretty shady too, a lot of scam websites selling the same products under different names. I would have given two stars but i cant deny that without the constant bombardment of ads, pinterest is a good app

I’ve used Pinterest for years and have always appreciated the ability to choose where I save my pins. The latest update got rid of that, automatically choosing the last board you saved something to, which isn’t where I want them to go. I save a wide variety of things, which is why I like Pinterest’s sorting ability.

I suspect they’re trying to use machine learning to streamline the experience. Well this particular update failed. I’d like the ability to opt out of the auto-save instead of having to manually edit each pin’s board after it’s saved. Not sure how it got out of Beta, as it’s not a good change. It makes me less inclined to use the app

I had an unhealthy addiction to this app, I used to spend hours going through peoples boards to seek inspiration for one of my WIP’s (I’m a writer) and creating my own boards with pictures that fit the aesthetic.

But now the board option has been removed on mobile devices, the sole use of your app is to find pictures through boards because other people have edited pictures with nice filters. Now every picture is ugly and all over the place because boards are no longer available.

People aren’t going to get this app if you keep your boards option gone, you’ll lose income because of this- I’m even tempted to resort to we heart it like I’m fourteen all over again.

There was no need to remove the board option, bring it back and there will be no complaints because looking at all the other reviews 75% of it is complaints about you removing boards- potential customers will see those reviews, think “god, you cant find boards??” and look for another app.

This was a terrible move on your part and I hope you deeply reconsider the removal of it.

Sooooo..... I used to love Pinterest it was my most used app on my phone but then they started making all these updates changing the layout of the app. At the start I was like “ok I’ll get used to this new layout” then they changed it again and again. It’s not the fact that the layouts keep changing that annoys me. It’s that now if I save a pin to one of my boards, and I want to continue scrolling through pins I can only see half of the pin and not the full pin. I hope this is just a temporary glitch, because other than that Pinterest is great app and is one of my favorites for inspiration and reference photos. I would really appreciate it if this glitch could be fixed, thank you.

Pinterest is great! I find myself scrolling on it for hours and I love how most people on the platform are just nice people. It’s great being able to find inspo for my bedroom, outfits, etc BUT, I recently installed the new update and since I’ve installed it, I haven’t been able to use the message feature. Pinterest please fix this!

For weeks there has been an “Add Your Birthday” screen overlayed over on my Pinterest home page on the mobile app. Even when you add your birthday the screen just remains there. There is no “Next” or “Finish” button. I emailed Pinterest to ask them to fix it (it’s impossible to “X” out of the screen, there’s no way to by pass it as there is no X at the top to close it) but weeks later and it’s still not working. Someone contacted me and asked me to send them a video of what’s happening but surely someone in tech on Pinterest is aware of this bug? I also tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but no joy :-(

I love Pinterest however recently anytime I’m scrolling through my own board and I scroll up it exits out of the board back into my profile which is so frustrating! It’s such an unnecessary gesture and I’m constantly accidentally closing the page I’m trying to look at. I would like to be able to see my pins and boards without having to be extremely careful about scrolling. Please fix!!!
