Description
An official companion app for the University of Manchester acceptability study.
Prevent is a companion mobile app to be used by participants of the associated acceptability study run by The University of Manchester.
The Prevent App is a tool for setting goals and completing diary-style logs related to lifestyle and health in order to prevent weight gain and improve other health behaviours in young women at increased risk of breast cancer. These logs may be used as a tool to encourage users complete their goals and provide a visual mechanism for tracking their own progress. At the same time, the app sends anonymised logs to a University secure data system as well as a series of customised analytics events. These are used by researchers to monitor app usage habits and engagement throughout the project.
